This show was EXCELLENT!!! Surprising, funny, emotional, compelling. I wept. I laughed. I longed for more content even with the run time being 90 minutes. A play you’ll keep thinking about long after curtain call. 10/10 would recommend. ... full review

In the Beginning is an innovative look at the story of Adam and Eve, focusing on Eve as the central character. It does an excellent job of highlighting Eve's intelligence over Adam's, deconstructing the story of original sin as we've learned it. The actress playing Eve is wonderful at showing Eve's arc. ... full review

Imaginative, heartfelt, and original, Kylee Q Robinson’s “In The Beginning” offers a modern and relatable take on the Garden of Eden (and centuries after) that blends humor and existential debate in an enjoyable production that knows just when to take itself seriously and when to let the audience laugh. Featuring a standout performance from Laurel Preston as Eve, the actors are beautifully connected to the script physically and emotionally. You will fall in love with this version of the first people and their Creator. ... full review
