Truly stunning and thought-provoking production. At one point, I was shaking in my seat, overwhelmed by the shocking tragedy before me. At several others, I surprised myself by laughing. This hour long show feels much shorter--time does not pass while watching, listening, staying tuned. From beginning to end, different elements inlcuding video footage, acting and poetry get woven together in always different ways. There is confusion--how could it not be given the focus on one little chaotic moment in history--yet it all takes shape, and then changes shape again. What keeps all of is together is above all the poet/performer whose voice carries through the questioning of the events with no intention to settle for any one response. This is a great performance to be watched more than once.... full review

First thing I must say is Hecht's performance was unrelenting, powerful and dynamic. Clearly a great talent and intellect at work here. I appreciated the performance and the writing in this piece, I clapped as hard as I could when the actor took his well deserved bow. But I felt that I never truly connected with the piece. Although it was interesting, it felt more like a lecture than an experience. The performer went to some incredible places, I wanted to go there with him.... full review

Jamey Hecht is an artist and scholar of the greatest order and I cannot recommend his show highly enough. From a literary standpoint his poetry soars to seemingly unreachable heights. His performance is as riveting and passionate as his message is clear. An evening of groundbreaking theater, the likes of which I haven't attended in a long, LONG while. Go!... full review

This dramatic recitation of his book by Jamey Hecht was well choreographed with visual multi-media and the strong, soothing voice of Hecht. It was obvious of his passion for the events surrounding the assassination of JFK, and his performance reflected that passion. This is a worthy piece of Fringe history.... full review
