Marnina and Micah are about as charming as it gets! I loved spending the afternoon with their totally approachable personalities, their unlikely and completely new-fangled marriage, their gently self-effacing humor, their sweet sweet singing and their beautiful instruments. And I loved getting to know them through their show. Go enjoy yourself - you'll be gad you did!...

Couplet are two brilliant, hilarious songsmiths in love. It's not often that comedy singer-songwriters are as talented with music as they are with jokes. Couplet have it all. And they are, dare I say, CUTE....

Yet, how does this Jewish couple opt to celebrate their wedding? They opt to test the waters out by sharing their show at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, of course.

When I started, I focused on simple chords and just having fun, and one of my favorite songs to practice was somewhere over the rainbow ukulele chords. They are gentle, sound magical, and practicing it slowly really helped me get comfortable switching chords without getting frustrated. Honestly, sometimes just strumming a few chords and singing along feels amazing, and I’ve realized that you don’t need to play perfectly to enjoy it....

couplet fully utilizes their musical prowess, comedic timing, and overwhelming charm in this ode to the power of love.
beneath the laughs, the well composed music, the incredible violin work, and steady guitarplay that grounds the inevitable chaos of musical comedy, the show delivers a story of true love that might make you feel like opening your heart back up....
