All Cats Go to Hell captures existential crisis amidst the chaos of middle schoolers trying to cover up an accidental murder of a neighborhood cat. Mandy’s writing manages to hit on powerful themes about what happens after we die while keeping it humorous in a dark humor type of way with very colorful characters....

Mandy can etch in stone the absurdity of angst and youth without losing the diegetic reality needed to ground a highly-engaging drama. “All Cats Go to Hell” is a firework show full of explosive, well-deserved beats. ...

It's an incredibly choreographed chaos, this show. A cast of extreme, but well-drawn, personalities bombards you with high energy, one-liners, gags, bickering, blink-and-you'll-miss-it bits, and heart. You may think you know where this play is going, but you really don't, I assure you....

A startlingly weird, funny, and piercing mini-DIVINE COMEDY with child characters played by adults, including a glimpse of what might as well be Inferno....

Such a fun, heartfelt, heartbreaking story that perfectly reflected the nostalgia of being a kid in the 90’s. The moments where the chaotic silliness gave way to thoughtful stillness were effortless and I am not surprised this run had so many sold out performances. ...

I was blown away! This ninety minute play felt like it was thirty minutes long because of the quick pace and consistently interesting storylines. I did not want it to be over. I work with tweens and these actors portrayed that age group perfectly! Every nuance, the talking over each other, the little jokes, the mannerisms. It was seamless....

Mandy Rubeli has once again blown me away with her honest, personable, insane, and brilliant writing. She is somehow able to turn surreal ideas into accurate, specific, and touching examinations of what it means to be human. All Cats Go to Hell is an awesome, funny, deep, cartoonish, and emotional play about friendship, growing up, and mortality. I hope we all get the chance to see it again because Rubeli has really put out "another banger"....
