Michael Coale Grey is ecstatic to be making his fringe debut with One Up! A multi-hyphenate performer who moved to LA from NYC two years ago, he’s grateful to join such an incredible cast and creative team. Past select theater credits include The Theory of Relativity (Goodspeed Musicals, Original Cast Album), Elf: The Musical and Annie (Paper Mill Playhouse), Guys and Dolls (Asolo Rep), and American Idiot (Artswest Playhouse). Michael was a member of the World Famous Singing Waitstaff at Ellen’s Stardust Diner in Times Square and was also a regular cast member of New York’s only live, improv, Japanese-Style, punishment game show, BATSU! As a filmmaker, Michael recently screened his debut short film, Weed the People: A Stoner Fantasia on National Themes, which will be available to the public later this year. As a musician, Michael is currently releasing new music as part of the synth-pop duo, Hot Apartment, with the first single releasing this June. Shoutout to Mary and Weslie for bringing him on board team One Up, and to all of the friends he has made in LA so far, thanks for keeping me alive and insane!
