It's a tour de force from the very talented Andrew Byron who wrote and performed this funny and moving play. It's marvelously entertaining as he switches masterfully between different characters and accents always with great subtlety and endearing humour. If you're lucky enough to get a chance to see it then seize it...... you won't regret it!...

A delightful hour. A feel good Ted Lasso-esque play about a Russian immigrant who finds community in a small british village. Great writing, great characters. I forgot I was watching a one man show...

What stands out about The Good Russian is Andrew Byron’s sincere and truly moving performance as the immigrant seeking not only a new home, but a new life. A bit ambling, but so heartfelt as to be heart-aching. A story we should all hear in these troubled days.
