Ben created a fun, intelligent, witty, engaging and welcoming environment where I felt like a friend from the start. Sharing with his what is it is like to grow up in a small town in Oklahoma to Boston for college to moving to Vermont. He humorously dives into topic of dealing with mental health issues, addiction and loss, while also hitting you with twists and turns. The imagery he brought, his grounded performance and the humor painted his world vividly. I am so happy I went on this journey with him. ... full review

Ben has done the work and it shows. A solid character exploration as an actor and a strong script exploring the upbringing of kid through man and the struggles faced. Self aware, surprising, funny, heart breaking and important. This show, at the core, is something men specifically need to see. A well told, well acted and written piece that explores the need for growth. ... full review

My Testimony starring Ben Johnson is a very Brave solo show that is Funny in parts, a bit shocking in parts & enlightening in how trauma can be pass down in generations. In this case, the inherited trauma has found some Healing, Truth & Humor being raised by parents who spent way too much time at church. His parents demanded too much of this 10 year old who only wanted to go home to see his beloved Star Trek! Yet, this isn’t a religious show that one may be worried about. Instead, here we have camp fires stories that you may want to retell. Yet, nobody would be able to tell them like Ben. Stand outs in Ben Johnson's performance were his use of an Act Outs such as the lady who was trying her best to guide him to get him in the last dorm r... full review
