What I liked

My Testimony: Fury & Grace is a deeply personal and raw memoir that pays tribute to Southern Protestantism, Star Trek, Greek philosophy, and tomatoes. Ben delivers as an Oklahoman preacher, a defiant little boy, and a man grappling with the fallout of his early traumas in poignant ways. It was laugh-out-loud funny til it wasn’t, but Ben’s sure tone and gorgeous storytelling keep the energy and momentum building back into comedy and triumph over life’s challenges in the end.

What I didn't like

Sorry I don’t eat Tic Tacs!! But loved the immersion into Ben’s sense memory of eating them in church.

My overall impression

This one man show was both hilarious and stone cold sober. So smart and poetic. Ben Johnson will take you to CHURCH!
