Ben Johnson takes us through one route of the story of his life, beginning with his early days with his family in an Evangelical upbringing, and snaking through the fallout until we get to a beautiful point of introspection and healing. My Testimony starring Ben Johnson is a very Brave solo show that is Funny in parts, a bit shocking in parts & enlightening in how trauma can be pass down in generations. In this case, the inherited trauma has found some Healing, Truth & Humor being raised by parents who spent way too much time at church. His parents demanded too much of this 10 year old who only wanted to go home to see his beloved Star Trek! Yet, this isn’t a religious show that one may be worried about. Instead, here we have camp fires stories that you may want to retell. Yet, nobody would be able to tell them like Ben.
