What an incredible piece of art! The movement and the language was so exhilarating! I feel like we were the only ones that didn’t speak Russian and I didn’t feel lost one bit!... full review

A few days ago, I attended “Gabriliad” that left me with a very positive impression. I particularly appreciated the lightness of the production and how seamlessly and timely the music was incorporated. There wasn’t an overabundance of it, but each musical accent was perfectly placed and added a special touch to the overall atmosphere. The set design was minimalistic yet used effectively, allowing the actors to fully express the essence of the play. I was especially impressed by how the spirit of youthful rebellion, reminiscent of the young Pushkin, was conveyed through innovative, avant-garde choices, as well as the use of physical expression and metaphysical elements. Overall, it was a well-thought-out and subtly humorous performance that l... full review

This was really an incredible performance. I think we were the only two people in this audience who didn't speak Russian and it was still a marvel to behold. There was so much happening that I couldn't tell you what it really meant, but I could tell you it was amazing to watch. The performers were moving so beautifully and so artfully, even though I don't speak Russian you could tell the voices and their delivery was so crisp and so incredible. ... full review

I want to say a huge thank you for your performance of Pushkin’s Gavriiliada! It was unexpectedly lively, fresh, and incredibly precise in its delivery — you managed to capture both the ironic spirit of the poem and make it feel absolutely modern and theatrically engaging. What impressed me deeply was how creatively you used the space: although the venue was small and technically limited, you succeeded in creating a fully immersive theatrical experience. Through lighting, music, movement, and atmosphere, the visuals kept shifting — the performance was never static or monotonous. It was dynamic, vivid, and visually rich from beginning to end. A special highlight was the live music — such a powerful touch! The two musicians didn’t just a... full review

That was absolutely wonderful! Thank you for bringing your extraordinary talent to Los Angeles. Admittedly I was not familiar with the Gabrieliad ahead of time, but I feel like I got a crash course and am now intrigued to study up on it. Your show was mesmerizing, thought-provoking and funny. Beautiful dance and live instruments. You absolutely got the story across.... full review
