Mark Vigeant's "Out There" must be experienced. In this immersive, delightful show, a would-be influencer and his camcorder, attempts to tackle the wiles of wild Alaska alone. What could go wrong? Armed with his trusty bow and arrow and fishing line, and brimming with imagination and highly effective Imagery of both props and projections, "Out There" is equal parts hilarious, touching, and imaginative. Vigeant's audience is part of the fun and in for a wild ride! ... full review

I don’t know what to say about this piece that hasn’t already been said. It’s a remarkable piece of theater. The use of live feed throughout, the entire production is really special, creative and a key element as if it’s another character. I’m super curious to see what this play would be like in other spaces as well. You can tell it’s a different beast from audience to audience, which makes you want to see the show over and over again. Good luck in Scotland, Mark!... full review

Mark somehow made a solo show feel like a group event in the best way. It was hilarious, energizing, dynamic, and a deeply satisfying takedown on an all-too-familiar persona. Nonstop raucous fun!... full review

Lighthearted antics mixed with some realness about isolation and growing older. Fantastic show, extremely fun time. Within the first five minutes of the show he had won the entire audience. His playfulness was so genuine, he remained in tune and empathic to every single person in the room throughout. It's easily a must-see. And I am certain I will re-attend.... full review

This shit is remarkable, man. Unique and clever. Funny and poignant. I don't know if Mark meant for it to be a portrait of loneliness but the extreme measures Larry takes to be alone / self-sufficient / worthy are resonant of our current condition as humans in a digital world that we can't escape. Alone and surrounded at the same time. Loved this show - Edinburgh is lucky to have it.... full review

Only Mark could take the world of Alone and turn it into something so gutwrenchingly heartfelt and joyfully silly at the same time.... full review

This show doesn’t just provide opportunities to laugh uproariously… it gives you no other choice. Like, if you don’t find it funny, we don’t need to be friends. I’m gonna be hard pressed to see other shows when I kinda just want to see this one again.... full review

I mean how many reviews telling you this show is awesome do you need? Mark Vigeant instantly creates magic by immersing every single audience member into his world. I watched people in the audience turn from skeptical to elated within the first five minutes. The tech is incredible but it never feels like a gimmick he's relying on. He's so quick and present with every audience member, and makes us feel like we are all contributing to the show together. Lots of games, perfectly balanced. Earnestly a must see show, and SUPER accessible for anyone new to clown. My mom and my cousin would both love it. ... full review
