What I liked
I enjoyed vicariously journeying to the Balkans and other parts of the world I only know through reputation (good and otherwise). Mike relays his exploits with humor and just the right touch of personal vulnerability. He seemed to get more than his share of tribulations, which makes for great anecdote value!
What I didn't like
My only note is technical: during the performance I attended, the mic created something of an echo.
My overall impression
An amusing and legitimately interesting series of personal anecdotes from a seasoned world traveller.
