What I liked
The rich seven part harmonies and playful nature of this cast! Especially loved the song “A-Roving” and the accompanying physical comedy dance number, as well as “Sloop John B” and of course the shanty staple “Drunken Sailor”.
Also love that given the vignette nature of the shows storytelling, it can be lengthened or shortened for any occasion! Can see this playing to crowds of all ages, hope it gets an extension given its sold out run!

My overall impression
Ahoy lovers of timeless stories of adventure, love and friendship told through dulcet harmonies by a charming, colorful cast, you have found your show! This was such a warm, welcoming musical experience – from the opening announcement, I felt like I was boarding a Disney ride and was charmed until disembarking the ‘ship’. Spencer is delightful as our seafaring guide, loved when he (and others) accompanied themselves on instruments, though the a’cappella vocals were just as wonderful!
