Mary Bonney is a producer, performer and writer working across television, film and stage musicals. With roots in the music industry and comedy performance, she brings a genre-savvy, music-driven approach to character-forward stories, particularly female-centered narratives exploring identity, community and reinvention.
Mary served as VP of Production at digital horror studio Crypt TV (Jason Blum/Eli Roth) and has worked across shows like The Rookie, Yellowjackets and Cruel Summer. She’s line produced projects like John Travolta’s directorial debut Propeller One-Way Night Coach (Cannes 2026, Apple TV), the Emmy-winning children’s series Tab Time and NAACP Image Award-winning docuseries Daring Simone Biles. Her films have screened at SXSW, Tribeca, SXSW Sydney, HollyShorts and more.
Mary is an active force in musical development under her banner Maryment Entertainment, creating and producing the 2025 Fringe Best Musical Winner One Up: The Musical. She also produced the 2023 Fringe Best Musical Nominee and LA Time’s “Pick of Fringe” Les Millénniables. She created and produced the digital musical series Break: The Musical (Indie Series Awards: Best Soundtrack, SeriesFest selection).
