What I liked
So much work went into this musically. I LOVE that it’s under an hour. Spencer and Mak were standouts in a cast filled with so much talent. Each person brought a different charm to the piece.
What I didn't like
Look, this show is GREAT. My only note is that the woman sailor, who has a BEAUTIFUL voice, over powered in the high harmony. Any time she was on a lower harmony it blended in with exertions so well! But her soprano notes stand out anyway, but they’re even louder cause she’s singing at full capacity. Again, i can’t stress enough that her instrument is pure and delicious but could be pulled back a tad.
My overall impression
So fun and charming! Great characters and excellent singing! So proud of Spencer!
