What I liked
Heart heart HEART – for my money it’s always the key ingredient of a great show that’s and too often overlooked and here Sydney’s show has it in BUCKETS. Also this production is also brilliantly directed by Byron Coolie, assuring every Edwards lady is staged to exhibit their unique power with impeccable nuance, while Sydney works the room like a sorceress, interplaying with the audience with effortless ease and impeccable comic timing that guarantees a gleeful and fulfilling emotional ride. The director and writer/performer are a dream team.

I wish I’d sat up front so I could be singled out! Haha!
My overall impression
Sydney Edwards is a magical being descended from magical beings – I got to meet a few of them last night at MS. EDWARDS, a luxuriously hilarious one woman tour de force, featuring 5 ladies, all starkly different, but even in their contrasting discords make a perfect harmony. Sydney’s loving portrayals not only did them a great honor, but sent us away wishing to hold each of those powerhouse ladies to our hearts in a big loving hug. This tribute is indeed sweet as pie, and radiates with Sydney Edwards’s inner light. A Fringe stand-out that NEEDS to be seen by all! DONT MISS IT!!
