An incredible blend of writing, direction and impeccable storytelling from a remarkable cast, Going Home stands on its own as a show to definitely see this Fringe, especially if you love Mafia-inspired tales. Quick, witty and bold, I loved the script. The casting in this piece fit so well, with breakout performances from the entire cast of Chance Lang, Mo Leblanc, Kory Karam and Vincent Giovanni. “Going Home” is an extremely well written and heartwarming play by Chance Lang. The cast with Chance Lang, Vincent Giovanni, Kory Karam, and Mo LeBlanc cleverly uses the stage to create an intense and emotional story that was captivating throughout. I was blown away! The two characters that stood out for me were the lead character Tommy (played by Chance Lang) and the boss Lou (played by Kory Karam). Tommy brilliantly depicted the hardship of his life and the desire to pursue his ambitions, and the desperation of the dire circumstances he faces with the mob. Watching his range of expressions from naïveté, to terror, to anger while being faced with life and death orders and the consequences from the mob boss was surreal!
