Kirsten is an absolute jewel of the LA theatre community! I could watch her throw magic around the stage for days. Whether she’s giving me a howlingly funny joke or a simple, poignant moment, I am always leaning forward. Outdated is another gorgeous example of her wit, her intelligence and her humanity twisting around 100sq ft at the LGBT Center. She is such a brilliant writer and performer and I want to see everything she does!...

This show was incredible- vulnerable, real, and absolutely hilarious through all of that. I couldn’t stop laughing the entire time, save for a moment where I was almost brought to tears- an expertly written shift that couldn’t have been stated better, and felt relatable to many of us in the room. This show balances the hilarity and confusion that dating brings today, and I loved every second!...

We could all only hope to use our trauma to create something so incredibly healing, thought-provoking and entertaining. 10/10, would recommend any and all to see this show. And thank you Kirsten for sharing her deeply moving honesty and self reflection with us all....

This intensely personal, character-driven solo show captures the complexities of on-app dating. There are so many moments of pure hilarity that I lost track of the number of times I laughed out loud. Co-joining these instances are moments that celebrate Kirsten Vangsness's poignancy, vulnerability, and open-mindedness.
While she might feel "Outdated," I guarantee that her subject matter and its relevancy are not. For those unfamiliar with terms relating to the "B" in LGBTQIA+ or demisexuality, Kirsten is not shy about sharing her self-discovery. How does that translate into the world of contemporary dating?
And, here's to looking at oneself through the beast's eyes....
