What a wonderful way of sending the message that everyone is beautiful in their own way-
The perfect body, does not make perfect person even with
outside forces,temptations, and todays technology.
Many people need to learn this lesson in todays world.

This production was raw, beautiful and at points hard to sit through (not in a bad way). Misshapen makes you take a look at yourself and say, you are beautiful no matter what. It's hard to do but this show forces you to do it. It makes you face something that isn't easy to face. It's something that we all struggle with.
I seriously have to applaud the creative team (director, writer, designers) on Misshapen as a whole. It is a HUGE feet to be able to have this big of an impact on an audience, especially one like myself who closes themselves off at times. I also want to thank them for bringing this to the world. It's an important piece and one that needs to be told.

Despite the production’s unevenness and meandering storytelling, MisShapen might be worth a look. The cast’s enthusiasm is undeniable and many of the show’s individual pieces work well and deserve an audience. I’m hoping the artists will be able to reshape this material and elevate it to the bar set by their magnificent finale which will not soon be forgotten.
