Incredibly real, thoughtfully-constructed, and beautifully acted! Took me right back to those exact 2010s sleepovers and hard conversations. ...

I left the theater only moments ago can confidently know that this piece will remain with me. Already a concept that I knew I would enjoy but I couldn't have predicted to the degree that I love it. The second Andy's brother tried on the necklace I knew. That was me. Currently the powers that be tell us to hate our bodies and that they are unnatural yet they could not be more wrong. Every time the mirror was brought back to center stage we watched a character scrutinize themselves and find things to hate. The people around them never hated though. The people around them were the ones offering the truest of reflections. Thank you to the whole cast for letting me step back in time 20 years and watch little trans me discover my body is mine and ...

Endlessly insightful and endearing, Girl Blood is bursting at the seams for all the heart it contains. With the conceit of taking place entirely in bathrooms, Girl Blood has much to say about the ways people (especially girls) are trained to view themselves, their bodies, and what is to be done if you don't conform to society's expectations. Equal parts entertaining and thought-provoking, Girl Blood (yes, I'm going to dust off a cliche but this time it's clever because it's a central component of the play) holds a mirror to the audience encouraging the audience to have empathy and understanding for the characters onstage, but for themselves as well....

Girl Blood, tugged at my heart and took me on an emotional roller coaster. It had me traveling back in a wave of emotions to my own early coming of age. Girl Blood has an amazing cast. Throughout the show, I felt as part of the cast as they transported me through their emotional journeys and struggles. I loved the music used, as it took the audience through a time revolving wheel of adolescence. It was captured masterfully. Heartwarming, tear jerking and powerful show, go see Girl Blood! ...

I loved this. I think the more we talk about period blood the better. I loved seeing so many men in the audience and was happy to know they may have learned a thing or two!...

Whoa! Amazing!
Everything was strategically placed, choreographed and the actors perfectly chosen for their roles. In addition, the set, sound, lighting, song choice transitions and emotionally dedicated actors brought the entire timeline and storyline to life. It captured you and left you on the edge of your seat with your stomach being filled with laughter, heartache, hopelessness, and celebration, all being wrapped into one big, explosiveness of emotions. It was impossible to not have related to at least one or more characters in this show!
The director, Meghan, did a fantastic job with utilizing the space provided and creating an atmosphere that encompassed beautiful transitions and strategically chosen decor and meaningful...
