I loved this show. Izzy Salant is hilarious, thoughtful, talented, deeply thinking. His story was woven so beautiuflly and fluidly through moments of wonder, interaction and deep engagement. His talent knows no bounds. I'm left with the gift of a shared journey. I'm inspired and filled with "something" we all need: each other. Izzy Salant and his talented team= goodness. One of the BEST shows I saw at Fringe this year. ... full review

Do Better juxtaposes personal narrative with magic in a way that ultimately has the power to heal us all. It's vulnerable and theatrical all at once. Izzy is a self-professed "theater kid" and it shows! He uses all of the stage with clear purpose and effect. The magic isn't just sleight of hand, but an embrace of the limitless potential within the theater. ... full review

Sometimes the best way to express trauma is with a little humor...and magic. Izzy shares so of his pain and the quietness of suffering with things you dont quite understand or can express while also sharing how healing and trying comes in waves.... full review

A wonderful, relatable story about being Jewish and struggling with mental health and identity (I’m not Jewish, for the record, but the story still resonated with me). Was much less a magic show and much more a one person show with magic supporting the stories. Thought it was wonderful start to finish.... full review

This show was awesome. The story tugged on my heartstrings in a way I wasn’t expecting, and the way Izzy shares his experience and shines his authentic self on stage is so beautiful. God bless the fact that we have something as lifesaving as theater to lean on! So worth leaving the house at 10pm (way past my bedtime) on a Friday night.... full review
