I loved this show. Izzy Salant is hilarious, thoughtful, talented, deeply thinking. His story was woven so beautiuflly and fluidly through moments of wonder, interaction and deep engagement. His talent knows no bounds. I'm left with the gift of a shared journey. I'm inspired and filled with "something" we all need: each other. Izzy Salant and his talented team= goodness. Do Better juxtaposes personal narrative with magic in a way that ultimately has the power to heal us all. It's vulnerable and theatrical all at once. A wonderful, relatable story about being Jewish and struggling with mental health and identity (I’m not Jewish, for the record, but the story still resonated with me). This show was awesome. The story tugged on my heartstrings in a way I wasn’t expecting, and the way Izzy shares his experience and shines his authentic self on stage is so beautiful.
