Imagine CliffsNotes for Shakespearian deaths, presented as a speed-through recap that emanates the tone of the three endings in Clue, paired with the memorable effects of Waterworld at Universal Studios, and you’d have 79 Ways to Die. This has a surprising blend of humor, quality ass-shaking, innuendo, puppetry, and “realistic” practical effects, all performed by a group of actors that know how to charm you into cheering them on. This is a show that exudes the very heart of what Fringe does best. It’s camp, it’s fun, and doesn’t ask you to take it, or yourself, too seriously. ... full review

This was the brilliant, weird step-child of "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare: Abridged" and "The Play that Goes Wrong" with a spicy side of all things DEATH. It was cleverly written, passionately played, and just a pure romp through controlled chaos that had us giggling from start to finish. This is the type of show that starts at a small fringe and ends up Off-Broadway. Do not miss this show!... full review

Tight ensemble of performers doing a show that was both edgy and insightful. When audience members were asked onstage, it always felt organic. The interplay between performer and audience was balanced and made it feel truly collaborative. Really fun and included sock puppets!... full review

What if Drunk Shakespeare and The Play That Goes Wrong had a fringe theater baby? This ensemble farce and tribute to Shakespeare's oft-labyrinthine plotting is a lot of fun. The jokes fly fast and furious and hit more than they miss. The cast has an excellent camaraderie that keeps things moving and responds well to unexpected turns, which are inevitable when a production requires this much audience participation. Wetter than one would expect!... full review

I’m a firm believer that you can only really make fun something if you truly love it and that is what is happening here. This show is so well thought out with premises and creativity that anyone can enjoy it. No prior Shakespeare knowledge required which is good because as we all know, read is for the opps. ... full review

As a person whose whole experience with Shakespeare can be summed up by vague memories of high school drama plays with puffy sleeves, “et tu, Brutus?”, someone holding a skull for some reason, and of course the awesome depictions of Romeo and Juliet in both the 1996 version with good old Leo Dio and Jet Li’s sick ass version (RIP Aaliyah), this show brings a new and welcomed addition to my Shakespearean knowledge. An abridged version of the most exciting moments throughout his many works that kept me at the edge of my seat bursting at the seams with laughter. The cast does an awesome job of making you feel uncomfortable in the best way possible. 10/10 must see/experience!... full review
