A much needed show! As a fellow Filipina American, it was so refreshing to be in a space where we're openly talking about sexuality and challenging family dynamics. Joy's vulnerability and humor around these themes brought me in. Can't wait for more folx to catch this show!...

Joy was incredibly hillarious, vunerable, honest, and informative. She is the voice of a millenial generation for many of us Asian American kids growing up invisible or lost in White America or often misunderstood and overlooked by our own family. Her energy is magnetic, but also her writing takes us into a relateable journey that is not only navigating sex life from highschool through adulthood, but also the many complications of intimacy, insecurity, and personal baggage we have to process. Her informtive journey through addiction was not only relateable, but also eye opening, for addiction does not stop with just substances and chemicals, but also with our own relationships with our bodies and how we choose to connect with other human bei...
