I watched Joy’s solo show and must report she was most thorough in her run-through of the bodies she left in her wake, not excluding her own. While I am sorry those demons and addictions that attached themselves through a messily inappropriate combination of guardian neglect and over-dependence, invisibly burrowed into the depths of her sense of self, how she shared them with the immediate audience was categorically hysterical and I’m glad to witness such an entertaining healing process. Waitlist to Harvard? Joy has been up to better things than waiting around.... full review
