I thoroughly enjoyed There is Something Seriously Wrong with Cyrus at the Zephyr Theater. It was relatable and touching on many emotional levels. Everyone I know has mixed emotions about their parental units as they pass from childhood to adolescence. Cyrus addressed his personal growth with humor and honesty, sometimes exposing his most vulnerable moments. It is reassuring to know that he overcame his upbringing and became his own person with a little help from some very special people in his life. ... full review

Cyrus is an utter delight to watch, by turns hilarious, sweet, sad, sexy, silly, and vulnerable. In this tale of growing up the son of immigrant parents who don't fully understand him, we see where that makes it difficult for him to accept himself and the people who try to get close to him.
