Concise, informative and fun. Brandie lays down a seemingly simple formula for reexamining a fairytale based story, and the results were amazing. Several of us in the workshop started with the same base story and we yielded incredibly different but equally intriguing results. This was a great hands-on interactive writing workshop! I went in without any ideas and came out with a sketched-out plot/arc for a story. Brandie had great prompts and it was helpful to also hear her thought process when writing her now-published books. She did a great job leading the workshop and it was a very helpful writing/brainstorming exerise.... full review
