Wow, this was absolutely brilliant and innovative in every sense of the word. I'm still blown away by how the concepts completely enraptured me and touched on so many important themes that I'm passionate about. I feel that this miraculously manages to be a beautiful love letter and hilarious satire of theatre at the same time, and it almost feels impossible for these two to exist in tandem. Not only did the play constantly have me laughing, but it made me consistently stimulated come on thinking heavily about the meaning derived in judging artistic work. Is it ever truly valid, who is anyone to judge, does it help anything? I highly recommend seeing this play so that you can have a unique theatrical experience and come to your own perspectiv... full review

What the Chuck?! is a brilliant work of theater made for the theater kids, by the theater kids, but still with strong mass appeal. Before the show even starts, the characters are clearly defined and sparkling, bringing my excitement to a boiling point. The show is funny and silly on the surface, but like the best funny/silly material, that disarming veneer harbors deep, existential thoughts and theories. Many of them brought to light by the audience. This is boosted by the performers being extremely sharp improvisers, performing the scripted material spontaneously and also responding to audience comments with whip-smart retorts. I have no idea if Mee is aware of this production, but I hope he is and I hope he's honored. This production is... full review

Set in the not so distance future, it highlights the importance of art and literature and what it could mean to the everyday student or scholar here in America and demonstrates how damaging censorship can be showing what a bleak world without art or plays could look like.... full review
