The difficult parents and horror show of “everything that can go wrong will go wrong” were so perfectly played and covered with inventive solutions. And Amanda switched channels between emotions so quickly and seamlessly, which only made the shifts in tone funnier and more believable.
What I didn't like
It gets a little TED-talky for a little about the significance of the Little Mermaid with, but Amanda carries it off well.
My overall impression
Amanda, our heroine, takes us through a rollercoaster afternoon at a kids party where if it can go wrong it does, and gives the kids a wild lesson about real fairytales and real life.
