It helps to have been drinking beforehand and that it was a midnight showing.... full review

The GoatVsFish inspired litterary classic The Lord of The Rings has scarecely had a more epic telling. ... full review

“All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.” - Gandalf THIS is what you should do with the time given to you -- attend this show We had everyone from people who had never seen the movie/read the books all the way to hard core fans of Lord of the Rings laughing, cheering, singing songs It's amazing that it's a one man show -- Riley does all the voices, all the accents and runs around like mad. Pure entertainment -- go see it... full review

This show is absolutely hilarious. A brilliant million dollar concept that I bet everyone is jealous they didn't come up with first. Riley is a phenomenal performer who wins over your heart the moment he walks on that stage. ... full review

Riley Smith embodies The Lord of The Rings, and I mean that in the truest sense of the word! What an amazing performance, he rarely misses a beat and when he does, it is only cause for more hilarity.... full review

Toward the beginning of the show, Riley asked if anyone in the audience had never seen the movie. I was one of the few people who raised their hands. Despite Lord of the Rings not being my usual fare, he did an incredible job with his casual storytelling style mixed with clever staging and enthusiastic character portrayal to make it a fun show for all!... full review

A wild time for anyone. It's so specific and funny and ridiculous. The way Riley finds humor in storytelling and showcasing the specificity of story is a good time. A throughly funny experience for anyone! ... full review

You may think you know the Lord of the Rings the Fellowship of the Ring but you haven't seen it laid out this hilariously and bluntly and chaotically before and you will be missing out if you don't see it through Riley's bearded Gandalf eyes. An absurd, delightfully dumb and revealingly odd look at what happens in this movie, scene by scene. The audience was in stitches and cackling the whole time it was such an experience. It made me want to see the movie for the first time again since it came out but maybe I actually just want to hear every movie told through Riley's silly loud voice. ... full review

One man, dressed as Gandalph, retells in vivid detail on half hour of cinema. Riley was such a commanding presence. The accurate parts were incredible and hilarious spot on, the voices! the eyes! and the not so accurate parts were still hilarious anyway. Not that I would really know. I’ve watched all of the lord of rings exactly one time and the particular insistence of an ex. Maybe that whole year and a half of sh*t was worth so that I could fully enjoy this raucous performance this evening. The audience was full, and the musical score sounded beautiful. It was a clown on a tightrope, and a treat. ... full review
