George says what all of us soft animals feel. Being a human, being an artist is god damn vulnerable! He puts his insecurities on display in this beautiful exploration of self in a magically playful clown show. His self doubts come to life through the evolution of animals and his self criticizing characters. It is personal it is universal. We are all just soft animals evolving and doing our best. This was one of the most earnest performances I've seen at the Fringe this year. It's about evolution, humanity, and the artist journey. There is something so relatable the way George navigates the mess he makes on stage, like we're all working with what we have, trying to make the best out of it.
