George says what all of us soft animals feel. Being a human, being an artist is god damn vulnerable! He puts his insecurities on display in this beautiful exploration of self in a magically playful clown show. His self doubts come to life through the evolution of animals and his self criticizing characters. It is personal it is universal. We are all just soft animals evolving and doing our best. His through line of "we are allowed" hit me hard! We are allowed to be here, and do what we love, even when we doubt it. I giggled, I screamed, I cried. George's absurdly hilarious physicality completely blew me away, and how easily he embodied and transformed into all the complexities of humanity. So much of this deeply moved me and genuinely made me laugh out loud. I also loved how much fun he was having and taking delight in himself. He stayed true to his clown, all the way to the beautiful full circle ending.... full review
