No joke, this show has become my Roman Empire. I saw it four days ago and literally haven't been able to stop thinking about it. It's absolutely stunning and if I get the chance to see it again, I will....

An incredible, violent, heartbreaking, moving - and sometimes, amazingly, even funny - journey through the human heart. It starts with a brilliant premise: a universe where everything is the same, except for one very important, brutal change. This leads the way for some of the best writing and acting I've seen at the Fringe. Finally, the audience is left with a chilling question - is the change really that different from our world? There is a wider space out there to explore this concept and dig deeper than we already saw. I suggest seeing it this time around because hopefully this is not the final iteration of this piece! The theater is big for a fringe show and yet the audience's laughs and gasps and groans all filled the room nicely. I hope every audience enjoys Heart Held At Knife Point as much as we did! Oh, and that special eff...

Heart Held at Knife Point was a visceral relationship drama that imagines what life would be like if our emotional defenses came with actual physical weapons. The acting was superb, the makeup and effects were BLOODY brilliant, and the ending was a beautiful tribute to the power of connection and empathy in the healing process....

Heart Held at Knife Point explores young love through a clever metaphor. Audiences watch the protagonist struggle to decide how vulnerable and open to be in her pursuit of romance, with the stakes heightened beyond our standard emotional bruising to real physical harm. ...
