What I liked
I thought the script was very well written and performed by the actors. I had the opportunity to see this show twice and it was just as good (if not better) the second time! Amazing effects that made the audience groan or gasp from the visuals. Visceral, powerful, and funny when it needed to be! All around good stuff right here.
What I didn't like
I’m honestly wracking my brain to try and come up with something I didnt like or thought could be improved. Oh! The only thing I can think of is the floor mat that they performed on would get very sticky (from the awesome special effects!) and so occasionally I found myself distracted as the actors shoes would stick quite loudly to the mat as the show progressed. However with the amount of blood being spilled I’m not sure how it could be improved and it didn’t bother me enough to think of right away. Good job everyone!
My overall impression
Loved it! Very snappy writing, interesting concept that I hadn’t ever seen before, and great acting! A very ambitious presentation that was successful on all fronts as far as I’m concerned. Best show I’ve seen during the festival so far!
