The performances were killer. The writing was sharp. The technical aspects – from the lighting to the prosthetics to the fake blood – were immaculate. Eliran’s writing is suspenseful, nuanced, and filled with feeling. Combined with the depth and subtly of the actors’ performances, Heart Held At Knife Point is a twisted and tender ride that illustrates just how bloody love can be.
What I didn't like
More attention? Investors? Honestly, I think this would make a cool feature!
My overall impression
Bloody, emotional, witty, and frightening at times. An intense and twisted story that is both alienating at times and incredibly relatable, self-reflective.
