The acting: superb in how the characters are both larger than life but also exactly like people I know.
The writing: incredible in how it made the brutal seem natural and the natural seem brutal.
The SFX: perfectly gory. It was so well executed and enhanced the story’s brutal nature.
What I didn't like
There could be more blood ;) (though that would probably make it harder to clean up in 15 min…)
My overall impression
An incredibly executed story about how others hurt us, the ways we try to defend ourselves, and the wounds we carry. Heart Held at Knife Point was at times brutal, fantastical, engrossing, tense, sometimes even funny. But it was always, always relatable, and that’s what moved me the most.
