What I liked
Maria delivers a phenomenal blend of clever character-based improv and character work, with distinct, clean, visible snaps from character to character. Teresa may be awkward as a character, but there’s certainly no awkwardness in Maria’s portrayal, as she makes Teresa into a lovable and sympathetic protagonist. I’ve never seen Maria’s work before, and I’m definitely a fan now!
What I didn't like
The show is brilliant as it is. I wouldn’t mess with it.
My overall impression
This show is a triumph of non0traditional storytelling, and is impossible to predict from one scene to the next. Maria is brilliant as both actor and writer—the show is cleverly written and escalates to a never-saw-it-coming conclusion. Can’t recommend this too highly!
