Brett Moore, just based on his encyclopedic knowledge of baseball alone, is worth the price of admission. But it's his affable and jovial nature as well as his ability to casually riff with the unexpected elements of the show that really seal the deal. His personal ties to baseball are interwoven with salient points about the general relevance of our national pastime, in a way that can resonate with casual and diehard fans alike (and even those who wouldn't use the "fan" label at all). Overall, taking baseball aside, watching someone explain their passion with the genuine fervor he does is easy to appreciate and enjoy.... full review

You know how you have a friend who is so fervidly and joyously into something that you get caught in the undertow of their enthusiasm? This is that friend in Fringe show form. This was such a great way to spend an hour! If you love baseball, this is obviously the show for you. If you love history and would listen to someone tell you about literally any historical time, event or person (as I would), this show is for you. If you just love seeing someone passionate about a topic and eager to share that passion with others, this show is for you. As of the writing of this review, there are 3 more chances to see this show - and if you know that baseball is based around the number 3 (as I learned from an audience member today), you have to admit that's kismet. Go see it! ... full review
