One could argue that the most impressive part of the show is the depth and breadth of Brett's baseball knowledge. And it would be a valid argument. For me, the core of this show is the love story. Brett lays his passion bear for all the world to see. Very few have loved anything as much as Brett loves baseball, and Batter Up! is a love for the ages. ... full review

Brett Moore returns to the Hollywood Fringe Festival with "Batter Up! Double Play," an updated version of his award-winning show. Featuring new stories and impressive feats of baseball memory, this engaging performance captivates audiences with its genuine passion for America's pastime. Moore's celebration of the Dodgers' recent achievements and the rich history of the Negro Leagues adds depth and educational value, making this a must-see for both baseball fans and newcomers alike.... full review

Baseball fan or not…I truly believe that you will LOVE this show! Brett is simply amazing! I attended the show with close friends and little baseball knowledge. Brett proved me wrong…I knew more about baseball than I imagined. His passion and knowledge of baseball is startling and his enthusiasm and stage presence match his knowledge of the game. The show has a lot of audience interaction, humor, and energy. ... full review

Batter Up: Double Play is a marvelous continuation of Brett Moore's previous Batter Up show in 2019. Masterfully juggling random trivia, incredible mental recall, and genuinely moving stories, Brett Moore makes you feel like you're chilling at home with a beer talking to your cool uncle about who won the World Series in 1954. Much needed in a week where we lost Willie Mays, probably the best to ever do it.... full review

Batter Up is a home run, no doubt. Brett is engaging to watch, and I went in with okay baseball knowledge (not a requirement at all), and I left an even bigger fan of the sport -- it's a slam dunk in my book! Highly recommend this show as something Fringe-y but also airtight and packed with quality!... full review

Brett hits this one out of the park. After seeing this all-star line-up of trivia, nostalgia, and mental magic it's impossible for any fan, old or new, to leave without a newfound love of the game and its players throughout the years - all of whom Brett could gladly name if he had more than just an hour.... full review

Brett Moore has more information about baseball in his head than five internets combined. No keyboard cat could type as fast as his mind works to retrieve player stats, years of events, baseball anecdotes, and all of the informational fly balls you can possibly catch! ... full review
