Alli Miller holds nothing back as she reminisces about her relationship with her mom. The good, the bad, the unexpectedly absurd. There is ultimately so much love buried in there, and Miller does fantastic work finding that.

My overall impression
Ice Cats is way funnier than you may think a story about a dead mother would be. But those of us who have been down that road know that you have to find ways to laugh, or else you just cry. Alli Miller has zeroed in on that to create a hilarious, moving show that goes to some truly bizarre places. Made even more bizarre because it all happened. Talk about a hell of a eulogy, one of the best shows I’ve seen this Fringe.
