Miller-Fisher takes a challenging inheritance and mines it for comedy gold. I’ve seen her play some provocative roles, but here she really bares all here, speaking honest truth to her unique experience of mother loss.
What I didn't like
I could see future versions of this show being longer and delving even deeper into the emotional roller coaster of parental loss.
My overall impression
Miller-Fisher is so talented, I could watch her do anything. Yes, even hack dead cats out of a hunk of ice. It is so great to witness some of the story of Alli and Cathy and to see a death positive show at Fringe. Talking about death won’t kill you! This show is death doula approved :)
