Being a member of the dead moms club sucks. But “Ice cats” makes you feel seen, makes you laugh, raises a toast even to the mom that you lost. My heartfelt thank you to Alli for creating this piece. Thank you for reminding us to laugh, to mourn, and to tell the stories of the ones we have lost. I wish I could have known Cathy. But thanks to Alli I feel like I did get a chance to meet her. I also love the image of my mom Patricia sharing a drink and a laugh together in heaven with Cathy and Barbara thanks to this show....

ICE CATS is a masterclass on ‘how to present a fourth-wall-breaking solo show’.
Alli Miller-Fisher is a consummate performer - exquisitely skilled in storytelling and comedy. The show is Miller-Fisher at her most vulnerable and raw and also her most hilarious. Every aspect of ICE CATS is superlative in presentation and emotion. Absolutely groundbreaking. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED...

Absolutely wonderful energy from start to finish. A rollercoaster of sadness and hilarity, and frozen cats. I cared laughing. The musical number for me was the highlight!!! Billy Joel would be so impressed at how adaptable his music can be!...

What a wild ride! Don’t let ANYONE spoil this one by telling you too much about it. Alli Miller is so relatable, authentic, and darkly hilarious, even if you’ve not experienced the death of a parent....

I sat down to write this review three or four times, but all of the words I found felt really empty and not profound enough to express what I feel about this show. So I’ve finally come to this. If you know Alli and have seen her perform you already know she’s a powerhouse. Quick witted, bold, self aware, and compulsively watchable, she commands every stage she’s ever set foot on. And if you don’t know Alli and have never seen her perform, first of all what are you even doing, and secondly you should run to see her do anything at all (especially this show). But that’s all just praise for the performer, not even the brilliant writer she is. The storytelling is incredible here, it’s raw and human and honest and equal parts heartbreaking and hi...

Omg whatttt!!! This is a true story?! It’s sooo good! It really had me in a choke hold like which parts are real and then finding out it all was dropped my jaw. It was beautifully told and so funny. Alli did such an amazing job making light out of a traumatic and difficult situation and it gave me a new perspective on how to handle something so awful as losing a parent....

Ice Cats is way funnier than you may think a story about a dead mother would be. But those of us who have been down that road know that you have to find ways to laugh, or else you just cry. Alli Miller has zeroed in on that to create a hilarious, moving show that goes to some truly bizarre places. Made even more bizarre because it all happened. Talk about a hell of a eulogy, one of the best shows I've seen this Fringe....
