What I liked
The characters of the show were wonderfully developed and acted, and this is a great way for other artists to showcase pieces of their own shows.
What I didn't like
Is this where I can enter complaints? My main complaint is that this seems to be the first review. Get on it, people. Write your reviews.
The experience varies based on guest artists. For me, all were great and their little bits encouraged me to make plans to see their entire shows. However, because of this variability, I focus on the regular cast and the show’s concept.
This seems like a complicated project with lots of moving parts (including the audience as one of those parts) with multiple tours guided through the space at the same time. That was a concern, but the tour I selected was pulled off perfectly.
My overall impression
This immersive show is a brilliant concept. Groups are led through multiple rooms where they encounter performers from other shows. As such, the experience may vary depending upon the time slot selected.
The regular cast performs the show’s characters with over-the-top precision: robotic receptionist Deloris, our smiling tour guide Lucky with the demeanor of a used car salesman, and of course the ancient Supervisor.
