As a fellow phobia-haver, I was bowled over by this show. Emily’s going to have you in tears laughing before choking you up with one of the funniest and realest portrayals of how a phobia affects you I’ve ever seen. This show will devastate your abs with roiling chuckles before shattering every misperception you’ve had about phobias....

I LOVED this show! Eccentric humor, surreal settings, and deeply personal and vulnerable. Unexpected and totally up my alley. Emily is so funny and such a smart writer. I appreciated her portrayal of OCD, and felt the show was extremely relatable. I was totally engaged for the entire 50 minutes (which can sometimes be tricky for us neurodivergents ;), and I couldn't wait to see what was next!...

I thoroughly enjoyed every second of this show! Emily has a real gift when it comes to storytelling! She let us in, and was absolutely fearless and funny in talking about things that in other hands could be overly dark or “dramatic”, everyone in the audience had such a smile on their face- I felt I walked out of there knowing who Emily is at her core...

WOW such a beautiful and intense delve into the inner mind of Emily and her phobia of vomiting! I felt like I got to experience the phobia and then push it away with Emily and then get submerged in it over and over again while laughing and being enraptured by her emotions and silly manic energy! She felt so comfortable on stage displaying her discomfort. I got to experience her personal upheaval while being sure she had it all together as a performer onstage (which is a feat!). Sometimes personal traumatic and triggering work makes me feel worried for the performer who has to re-experience their pain in front of us but I wasn't worried for Emily for a second. She had a remarkable way of even just holding up a notebook feel funny....

A funny, smart, and surprisingly emotional journey with a wonderful and gifted performer. Is this show about a weird phobia, or generational trauma, or My Little Pony, or childhood, or what? Yes. All the things. Brilliant....

Emily makes crippling anxiety adorable and funny in a hilarious one-woman show that explores what it means to be afraid. Emily is a great performer who has constructed a show that is uniquely her! It walks the line between absurdity and poignant and does so with great skill. ...

This show was nonstop hilarity and constant laughter that by the time it unveiled some darker moments it already had you wrapped around its finger...that you will NOT be sticking in your mouth. Because, you know, NO vomiting allowed! So this show is fun and safe for all phobias, in fact it's more relatable if you, too, have emetophobia!...
