Loved this take on God and the way we respond to trauma. A great set of characters and some truly impactful moments of dialogue — seeing Briar & Finn work through moments of pain together really struck a chord with me.
What I didn't like
The opening felt a little clunky and the situating of souls within the space of God was potentially underdeveloped, but truly only minor complaints.
My overall impression
I myself have thought of marching up to God to give Them a piece of my mind, so it’s no surprise that I greatly enjoyed this short play. For an hour of your time, ponder the nature of the universe and its implications through the eyes of two wounded souls traveling different paths of regret & longing.
