Jon’s story is so well-crafted, that we never question how one human being can do a 180 degree pivot (in terms of religion) in one lifetime. It also makes you take stock in your own spiritual beliefs no matter where you fall on the religious spectrum. It’s a great show to see with friends, and then go discuss afterward over burgers or beers. Plus, Jon’s experience as a stand-up comic, just makes the show so much more fun for the audience!
What I didn't like
There is nothing I didn’t like. If you missed “Just the Tip” at the Hollywood Fringe, go see Jon perform stand-up the rest of the year. You’re in for a treat.
My overall impression
“Just the Tip” is so clever and well-developed. It chronicles Jon’s hilarious personal journey from religious ruler-follower as a child to a free-thinking adult who questions everything. And he has you laughing every step of the way!
