This was an absolutely phenomenal comedy special and if this was streaming on Netflix or HBO, I'd watch it again and again. Jon Schnitzer really comes through with gut busting jokes that also give you a very clear image of what his life was like growing up as a Jewish boy in hardcore conservative Orange County. When Jon begins describing his visit to Palestine as a man, he brings you on a ride of emotions that will have you on the verge of tears right before he quickly punches you in the face with the snappiest joke to lift your spirits right back up. Just the Tip is equal parts head, heart, and funny af. I was so sucked into the stories that were incredibly unique, taking me on a journey from adolescence to adulthood, from Jesus to Gaza, and donuts to circumcision. The connective tissue weaving these disparate places and ideas together made me feel like I was on a wild and moving roadtrip with a very capable tender-hearted and light-hearted driver.
