I really loved this show! I walked in not knowing what to expect, and discovered that Connie Converse's music is moving and also very funny, her story really intriguing. A charismatic view of a unknown songwriter brought to life by Hope Levy. An excellent performance and one I'll never forget. She was stimulating and exciting and so enjoyable to experience. What a way to start off HFF 2024! My first (preview) show and, wow, if this is any indication of the caliber of shows, this is going to be a spectacular Fringe. First off, no doubt Hope Levy is talented. Not only can she sing, but she can tell a story, and the audience is right there with her. Hope connects with her audience and she takes us on the incredible journey of Connie Converse's universe as well as her own as she details her fascination with this mysterious musical figure who was Joni Mitchell before there was Joni. A compelling story and the music accented each beat. I've already told friends to see this show. Now, I'm a fan of both Connie Converse and Hope Levy. ... full review
