Isabella Charlton weaves a funny and witty tale of infedelity, mystery and deceit. Packed with fun observations of her as a child, and as an adult, we see the tale of a young woman navigating between the love of two parents as they split apart. As adolescense creeps in, Isabella is now confronted with dealing with her past and becoming a woman with her own traditions and ideals--will she break free of her parents influence? or is she doomed to repeat--? You'll have to see this show to find out. Recommended. Best of Asylum Judge... full review

Universal themes and universal charm. Isabella’s storytelling style is effortless and casual, and rife with dark humor. I felt like we were at a bar and she was telling me the wild story of her family and childhood. I found myself laughing the entire time, and deeply moved by the end during her candid self-reflection and revelations. ... full review

A stand-up routine about a very serious topic that affected the storyteller's adult life in more ways than one. Funny and vulnerable. ... full review

Isabella's show feels like standup comedy in style, but with a complete story, beginning, middle, and questions about her own future. The topic of infidelity could either fall into the trap of gratuitously sexual material, or judgemental and prude. Isabella fell into neither of those traps.... full review
