Sponsor a Drink at Fringe Central

Now in its fifth year, the sponsored drinks program allows you to feature a drink themed after your show at the infamous Bryan’s Bar of Fringe Central. For $100, you provide the name, your base alcohol choice and other information about your show and our bartenders will create a hand-crafted cocktail to promote your production! All proceeds from sponsored drink sales go to the Fringe. Fringe Cabaret 2015

The Fringe Cabaret Stage is your Hollywood Fringe Festival sampler platter.

The Cabaret Stage is located at Fringe Central and provides Fringe participants as well as the general public an opportunity to preview snippets of Fringe shows. Come to the cabaret to get a taste of what Fringe shows have to offer before committing to the full meal! There are new shows featured in every performance, special guest performers, raffles for show tickets and Fringe swag, and it’s all FREE!

Announcing the Return of Office Hours

Join Hollywood Fringe staff and participants every Wednesday for the return of Office Hours! Office Hours are casual meet-ups at different bars around Hollywood that offer you a weekly chance to network and drink with other Fringers!

Sample Fringe Budgets

Over the weekend at Workshop II, we did a lot of talking about where and when to spend your dollars when producing a Fringe show. The overall consensus was that there are no hard and fast rules— that you need to do what’s best for you, your production and most importantly, your story.


Here are two sample budgets from two very different productions. We hope this helps!

Fringe and the 99 Seat Theatre Plan

Greetings, Fringers!

I have little doubt that you are following the stories surrounding the changes to the 99 Seat Theatre Plan proposed by Actors’ Equity. We visited AEA’s headquarters in North Hollywood to ensure we passed on accurate information to you.

Question: How do the proposed changes to the 99 Seat Theatre Plan impact HFF15 productions?

Answer: Not at all.

The 2015 festival is business-as-usual in terms of AEA contracts. If you want to include a union actor in your project, you need to prepare a 99 Seat Theatre Plan application (available at Actorsequity.org) just as you always have. We have verification from Equity that they will be accepting these applications through most of June – even if the proposed changes (or some variant thereof) go into effect.

Once HFF15 is in the history books, we will sit down with AEA to discuss how any changes will impact 2016 Fringe participants and how we might operate within this new environment.

I hope this clears up some of those questions you have – at least for now. As we move through next year you can be sure we will be keeping you all in the loop.
