Taissa most recently played the role of DDA Alexis Acosta opposite Becki Newton in Netflix‘s The Lincoln Lawyer, Daisy Rodriguez opposite Greta Lee on AppleTV’s highest rated drama The Morning Show, Maureen on Hulu’s acclaimed mini-series Pam & Tommy, Kerry on ABC‘s prime-time drama 9-1-1 Katie on ABC’s crime procedural High Potential. Taissa’s talents are also timeless with her portrayal of roles in the period feature film First Oscar opposite late-actor Michael Lerner and in The Offer, a series about the making of ‘The Godfather’ movies, alongside well-known actors Giovanni Ribisi and Miles Teller. Taissa has studied the Meisner technique and continues to develop her craft. After training in classical ballet in Brazil, she started to receive roles in theater and film. In Mesa Community College’s musical production Curtains, she was described as “visually captivating” in a review by Phoenix New Times. Taissa also performed as Mary Warren in The Crucible for a regional Arizona production, a role for which she won the Theater Outback’s award for Best Supporting Actress. Also, she was a dancer in Arizona Opera’s production of Aida for their 2012-Spring season.
